How We Support

From housing and healthcare to education and emotional support, we walk alongside each woman as she builds a healthy, empowered life for herself and her child. We provide complete, wraparound support through our program.

Participants receive access to comprehensive medical, prenatal, and behavioral health care, helping ensure healthy pregnancies, safe deliveries, and emotional resilience for both mother and child.

At Young Moms Together, we know that stability starts with safe housing. Without it, everything else falls aparteducation, employment, parenting, even basic health care.

Many of the young women we serve are aging out of foster care, fleeing unsafe homes, or sleeping in cars with their babies—despite working or attending school. They’re turned away from leases because they have no rental history. Denied housing because they can’t find a co-signer. And they face discrimination simply for being young, single moms.

Ways to Give

  • A woman holding a baby outdoors with green foliage in the background.

“As smooth as could be expected at such a young age…”

“I became a student at Florence Crittenton Day Program in August of 1988 at the tender age of 14. The staff at Florence Crittenton and supportive family members made my transition into motherhood as smooth as could be expected at such a young age.”

    - Tamara, Young Mom

  • Three young children sitting on a couch.

"…changed my life for the better.”

“If anyone ever asked me what Florence Crittenton of Charleston, SC, means to me, I honestly could answer saying it has changed my life for the better.”

    - Andrea, Young Mom

  • A woman lifting a young girl into the air outdoors in a park with green trees and flowering bushes.

“…makes my heart smile big time.”

“I personally decided to choose Florence Crittenton Programs to give back, because I was a participant of the program in 2010. For me to be sitting in front of their building 6 years later about to walk in and make a donation to help other single mothers makes my heart smile big time.”
